Here are some places that offer classes and other opportunities to learn about weaving and other textile arts.

CCSF: City College of San Francisco offers several weaving classes in their fashion department.  See their course schedules and learn about fees and registration at http://www.ccsf.edu/en/educational-programs/school-and-departments/school-of-business/fashion.html.

Sebastopol Center for the Arts: The Sebastopol Center for the Arts offers classes in various forms of artistic expression, including fiber arts.  See their schedule of adult classes at http://sebarts.org/index.php/classes/adults/.

Walnut Creek Civic Arts Education: For over 40 years the City of Walnut Creek’s Civic Arts Education program has been a regional center of arts learning — promoting new visions, supporting exploration, stimulating creative thought and encouraging self-expression.  Their schedule includes several classes in weaving and fiber arts.  See their schedule at http://www.walnut-creek.org/cae/classes/adult/decorative_n_fiber_arts.asp.

Imagiknit: For the beginner this store offers classes in rigid heddle weaving and a Weaving 101 class with an 8 shaft loom.  Their schedule is at http://imagiknit.com/pages/classes.

San Francisco Fiber: Lou Grantham teaches ongoing classes at San Francisco Fiber Studio, the Walnut Creek Civic Arts Ed, as well as privately. Please visit the San Francisco Fiber website for  class description and class schedules.

CNCH: The Conference of Northern California Handweavers is a regional organization that promotes weaving, and holds an annual conference for weavers.
